it always amazes me that the guys with the biggest boxes usually have one layer of tools
with the original molded plastic display case and lots of empty space.
they also have a couple of drawers full of stuff, no tools, just parts, old hoses, ketchup & mustard packs, nuts and bolts.
must be a biggest box wins thing?
I agree with people buying boxes that are to big. But stacking tools on top of each other seems counter productive.

Re: Lets see your Toolbox!

Here's mine, a KRL 1001 that I bought used. I did order some new drawers, swapped out some of the 4" deep for some 2" for more layout space. As you can see by the collection on top, I could use the 1201 also, just can't bring myself to pay new prices......

I should remind you guys I'm a girl. I'm sure it was a shock to some to see a pink box, in the form of a metal storage cabinet, without knowing who I was.
We like tools too. Hahaha.

Whew! I was wondering how to revoke your mancard and you trumped it with the WOman card! Glad you like your tool box.

A couple years ago, I bought all the gals in the family, teen age and up, a pink claw hammer for Christmas. One niece-in-law was very excited. No one had EVER given her a tool for her very own. Score one for me.

Nice to see a girl that likes tools! Now all you need is about 3 grand to fill that cabinet! You can never have too many tools.

I have a guy at work that has that box, but he added top and end cabinets. It is so heavy he had to buy the next size bigger casters with the spring shocks. He also built a custom trailer to haul the thing.

Re: Lets see your Toolbox!

Here is my collection, I don't think it's enough and my wife says its more than I need. The way I look at it, I won't have a ton of money for my kids when I'm gone but my son will appreciate and use the tools through out his lifetime to keep the truck I'll leave for him running.

Re: Lets see your Toolbox!

Here is mine, lol. Lowe's brand full size truck box. Has a set of ratchets, a set of wrenches, a set of screwdrivers, and every pair of pliers I've ever needed stuffed in the top corner. Also has everything I could ever need for my truck. I have a 26" Craftsman in the garage but all it has in it are my air tools and the rest of my pliers I never use. I try not to buy tools that don't come in a case for this reason. I've had a little trouble finding a case of pliers though, lol.

That picture is upright on my computer but for some reason the forum thinks it should be sideways. Maybe if I put them in separate posts...
