Re: ls turbo build
Not sure, bought them from an individual.. welds and everything look good. Plus they are 1 3/4 ports and I think the ebay headers are 1 5/8.. either way im going to have them jethot coated. If they are ebay headers hope the coating will make them last

Re: ls turbo build
I wouldn't worry about them. I put a set of ebay china stainless longtubes on an LS swap build, and they are holding up really well. Huge bang for the buck.

Re: ls turbo build
How long have you had them. All the ones I ever seen lasted about 6 months and breaks right off at the merge, especially after the heat cycles and the stress of the weight from the turbos. But then those I saw were on Hondas.

Re: ls turbo build
LONGTUBES. On an NA setup. I would never hang turbos directly off of a thin tube header. lol.

Re: ls turbo build
Very Cool. I have changed directions on my LS build and am about to pull the trigger on ordering a turbo set up. I'm following Denmah's sloppy type build from LS1tech. Most likely doing a VS Racing set up for now.
Like you, I want to keep the AC. What bracket did you have on the AC comp at first? And now you have a bracket from LSbrackets.com? Would you mind posting a link if you get time? Would you want to sell the C6 manifolds you started with since you're doing headers now? Keep up the nice work! Love the build. |
