Re: 69 cst-10

It is a POL booster. I had to go with the 8in because the 11in would not have fit. I have about 2 inches between the valve cover and it. Almost done with the brake lines just need a few 3/8in fittings.

Re: 69 cst-10

Cool, from the pic it didn't look like you had that much room. I figure you're going to be twisting the frame now and then with the throttle.

Re: 69 cst-10

HAHA, I dont know if itll twist the frame with drag radials but once i throw a set of slicks on and the NOS, 750+hp, it may pull the tires a little.

Re: 69 cst-10

about $360.... I was thinking of going with a used one to save but then again as much money as i have into it now (about $15g and no paint/body) i dont want to skimp on brakes. Ill be getting the duel piston D52 for the front also.

All i need now is to finish the brake lines, Get my seat, Front/rear glass and should be drivable. Ill be getting my driveshaft tomorrow and have it in soon.

Well UPS came (Small POL box) and went. Then came again 10 min later and dropped off this, WTF could it be, Hmm i wonder. I was as excited as a little school boy getting his first, well..... HAHA I was scared putting it in. it didnt fit exactly on the first attempt. I mean come on. So i had to cut a little out of my center hoop on the bottom then, BAMM it slid right in. HELL YEA.

Re: 69 cst-10

That pic is with the front lifted so i can get under it. I can not crall under it when its sitting. The mufflers are about 4-5 inches off the ground. The front cross member is about 3-4 inches off.

Re: 69 cst-10

Yeah but the front cross member goes over a speed bump fine because the front tires lift it but them mufflers.................. gonna have to be careful. I'm guessing you won't be aiming this thing at any speed bumps anyway!

Re: 69 cst-10

I did not take any yet, busy with wife. The autometer gauges were easy. i slip fit them into the cluster then had all the power and grounds at a common connection. The individual wires, temp, pressure were just plugged in the back.

It is from Inland Empire Driveline Specialist. They are in the Riverside and Corona area just outside LA. excellent products and very knowledgable about all racing components. I very much liked talking to them and they answered all my questions before i ordered.

Re: 69 cst-10

I got the brake lines ran (just need to bleed) but i still need a clevis from the cam to the pedel. Also got my rear window installed (Slider and tinted) along with my power steering tightened up (Just need a belt). I am still having trouble getting my head lights working. Not getting juice. Ill get the thing drivabe then worry about the lights HAHA. Also have my B&M light truck shifter just waiting on my seat to come in then ill get her bolted down. Getting pumped it is so damn close now. OOH yea, also got my tach hooked up, f@cking sweet.

Re: 69 cst-10

Yea all new stuff, I changed the one 3/8 fitting which was longer with a small extension on the end and it sealed it up. I have the front driver side bled. still need to do the rear and front pass. Ill take the tires and calipers off cause the bleeder is in the middle.
