Re: "The way it is" 67'swb
Have been deciding what to do with my dash for a while. I do not like the dash pads but did not want to change the whole thing. I figured I would just fill in the dash pad holes to keep it simple and keep a some what stock look. Have only 4 more to go.

Re: "The way it is" 67'swb
thanks guys, kind of a pain because i have been taking it down close with a disc then filing to make sure it is 100% smooth and not wavy.
mike, when you get to that point i have a couple of places you can check. 2 in in hershey and one in lemoyne. you can get prices and check out some of there work. select collision is my brothers friend, dans autobody does nice work but a little pricey and bk rods. bk rods does all of my buddies bikes and has done nice work. but as always you will have to do some homework! i had a guy paint a truck for me once and it was pure hell to get it back and it was still not done!!!!

maaco, you'll get smacked for that one!
Cousin Eddie is now sold, made a few bills on the deal too... New owner comes Friday to get it, can't wait... I caught myself looking at a vmax online last night... maybe in two years when everything is paid off...

Re: "The way it is" 67'swb
Got my dash done tonight and it turned out really nice. There is only one spot that I am not happy with. It is above the driverside vent were they spot welded a tab from under neath and it is kinda sunk in. Nobody will probably ever notice but me? Or it will drive me nuts and end up tearing it apart and fixing it.
Any ways here is a picture of a old aluminum(70's) dirt bike gas tank that he wants a different tunnel and mounts welded on. I thought some of you guys would appreciate te exellant shape and cool factor IMO.
