Re: Project: Bolt one on
Actually the hard work hasn't even started yet. EFI programming, turbo, exhaust, NorthWest Fab Black Box. Rebuild a 205 with 32 sppline everything, cable shifters, 2 piece front drive shaft. Build a roll cage around the rocker boxes that tie into the frame, with seat mounts.

Heh, he's the one popping off about the fun stuff, the tough stuff being done and how easy it is.
I currently have 3 of my own and 2 I am working on for other people. |

Well, if you happen to come this way, I'll BBQ some tips and provide some good beer, just for passing through.

Heh, we may head up with you... my wife's parents live in Dover-Foxcroft
Eh, Yankee Hospitality does exist, once you get outside of Yuppieville. I have a pond on my property with good size Bass in it. I am also about 30 minutes to a couple of good spots on the Atlantic for Striper... |

Re: Project: Bolt one on
Hoping for a break in the weather cause this thing needs to be put outside for a lot of media-blasting.
Windshield frame and 80% of the dash need attention. Firewall as well but no pics of that currently. |

Re: Project: Bolt one on
Found more rust than anticipated but after 5 bags of media it's all gone.
Dash and windshield frame had the majority of it. Blasted, etched and primed. |

Re: Project: Bolt one on
So, this is back in my hands now.
Heading down to NJ shortly to pick up doors, fenders and a cowl hood for it. Then it's off for Rhino lining and paint. I am installing the Black Box and t-case shortly. |

Re: Project: Bolt one on
Did you do etching primer over the bare blasted metal...?? then what primer is next (epoxy?)
I'm trying to plan my next steps on my cab. Looking good though.
