Wiring is the fun part. Just remember to test everything before you hook up your battery to make sure that every wire is where it is suppose to be. That way you can save yourself some headaches, and keep the smoke in the wire casing.

thanks for the tip. i have an idiot proof system. i listed every wire on a tablet sheet. i have three colums market first check, hook up & final check. worked for the s10 wiring and didn't have a fire and that was just guessing at what wire did what.

well she's back on the frame with the new 4x4 rear is installed. the 4x4 s10 rear really fixed the wheel track issue for me anyways.

well moving along at a good pace for now. got the trailer hitch installed. my uncle does carpeting so i got some padding off him to help with noise. now all i need to find is some carpet or rubber mat to put over the padding. trying to get the wiring done so i can move the truck in and out of the garage under it's own power.

well got my rubber flooring installed. put a behind the seat jackbox and organizer from an 89 chevy in the truck. made a little shelf for under the front of the seat to throw junk. just have to cover it with some fleece to make it look good. made my own battery door but i might change it a little. painted the window trim and installed it so it won't get scrached.

well i haven't posted in a while but i haven't had too much time to work on my truck as i have been working on my new daily driver. i just started back on my 54. i'll post pic's soon. the cab is painted workin on the doors right now. then hopefully i'll get the fenders and hood cleaned,primed,&painted in a few weeks.

Hey I hear you. My daily was acting up and I was pissed/stressing cause who wants to deal with that? We want to work on our projects not our daily drivers. But I guess sometimes it is nice to have a break cause you come back super motivated.

doors are painted going to start on fenders and hood this week. got my brake pedal modifyed. my wife helped me bleed the brakes. so hopefully i can get the wiring and plumbing of the gauges done. then i can fire her up.

hopefully by spring it will be done. i'm waiting on the insurence check from my jeep to come so i can buy all the stuff i need to finish my truck. i want to take it to the york hot rod show this year and others.

well here are a few pics of what i got accomplished. also a pic of the nasty old brake fluid that was in the lines when we started bleeding them. the fluid is now nice and clean. last is a pic of my new mirrors they are ford f150 but they fit the doors perfict.

well the doors are on the trim for the doors is cleaned and painted. i got the mirrors mounted. door handles and hardware ar almost all installed. i need to get a inside driver assembly as mine is broken. got the ign switch mounted.

here is a pic of the crap that came out of my door latches. it is amasing what a little gas will disolve and wash out of stuff. also picked up some nice indoor outdoor carpet to replace the rubber mat. got my heater valve mocket up,got to make a bracket. also going to move the battery from the factory location under the floor to under the hood.

well i got the fenders stripped,primered,and painted on sunday. most of the front sheet metal is back together. i'll get some pics up. this is all the work that will be done on the truck for a while now. i got a call for a big job and will be out of town for about fifteen weeks depending on ifthere are any problems or set backs. once this job is done thoughit will be time to get my truck finally finished this year/summer.

well it's good to be home. i picked up an s10 manual steering box while out of town so i will be installing that soon. hopefully i will have the truck running in a few weeks. i'll post pics soon.

well steering box is in. fits better than the power one. got rid of the power pump. found my old dick cepeck spot lights at my moms so i think they will go on the front as spot lights. got a s10 blazer rear wiper motor for my kit so i can finish that up.

finished the front end wiring. painted the grill,grill suround, and bumper flat black. painted the top of the cab flat black too. was gona do white and blue but the wife said black would look better. i think she was right.

well my truck is going up for sale. i hate to do it but i have to do what i have to do for my family. i will leave it at that. it is sad with it being so close to done but it is a must at this point.
