I went with 255/85 16 tires. I originally went with zero offset rims but, found out the hard way that they won't clear the tie rod ends.

It's sad that you had to sell it without getting to enjoy it for very long but I hope you got a lot for it. It should be a high dollar truck IMO. How did you sell it? EBay, HAMB, this forum, CL? just curious. |

Thanks. I enjoy doing what I do.
I sold it for $24.5 and I could have gotten a bit more but, didn't want to get greedy. I had it listed in multiple sites but, old-ride was the one that I got the most hits off of. I already have my next project a 63 Biscayne.

how do I fix my driver door hinge as the top hole for pin is worn and big. 99 chevy silverado replaced pins but top hole is worn bigger. i was told that the hinge needs replaced but no one wants to do it. Help ple

I had the same problem with mine. I welded the hole and drilled to correct size. replaced the pins and bushings. just gotta bear in mind where the correct hole center should be.
otherwise replace with a new hinge, not usually gonna break the bank. |
