Tacked a piece of scrap in place to check for the bag placement. Looks like at ride height the bag will be right at 6.5".

Nother step closer to having the rear suspension rapped up. Worked on the bag mounts today.

Wow!!!!! I can't get enough of your build. It is coming along great. What are you cutting your brackets and stuff with? They look really clean.

Edit: I just went back to the first posts and saw the parts picture with the bag brackets and stuff in it. So, I answered my own question.

Went with a Miller 211. For what I'm doing and plan to do it seemed to be a good choice for me. If need anything larger got a stick welder to take care of that.

I had one like that but space considerations made me switch to the basic Harbor Freight blu welding cart. Gave my old one to a guy with plenty of room for the cart. Dang, that makes it sound like giving away a dog. LOL.
