i also picked up a 9.5" 6 lug 14 bolt i decided to go with so ill never have to worry about it, planning a disk brake & trutrac install with Caltracs.

& ive got a 10.5" rear and a 12 bolt im selling btw if anyones interested.
You will love the trutrac. Did you see shon has a thread on dt headers for our trucks? Looking for a group buy. Is that 10.5 a 8 lug full float?

really?? damnit!! oh well, i've already got the manifolds on. ill just have to wait on that for the time being, just my luck.

& yes it is 8 lug SRW Full Floating Open Diff 10.5" with 4.11's from an '84 crew cab. obviously way too much for my 2wd lol

Is it on the road yet? oh and, does that 12 bolt happen to happen a "custom" drain hole?

It's drive able but I wanna get the new rear under it before I drive it much. & lmao! Yes it does! I already sold it. I think the 9.5"ers gonna be a safer bet especially when I start throwin more power at it.

I have driven the regular and the z06. They are both amazing. One is fast and the other is scary. Would take both home.

& thanks man.

i have connections to a prison ran paint/body shop. they do all the labor for free, all it will cost is supplies, inmates do the work but they are quiet choosey which ones get this privilege. someone i know had his car done, he went an told them to just take their time.

it took 9 months but it turned out incredibly. looks like a $5,000 job for $800. cant beat that.

i dont rely on mine so i can go 9 months without it easily. needless to say...
