Re: "Outkast"
Maybe Truck of the Year.... Nice job Jason.
How are you going to protect the paint from the chunks of rubber flying at the rear fenders? Who makes that air cleaner? Looks like a late 80's Vette wheel - I like it! |

Re: "Outkast"
thanks for all the compliments guys
Big-Blue it's a march performance air cleaner, not sure of the model and I have no idea how I'm going to protect the inner fenders, maybe not drive it hard, yeah that's not going to happen, I'll have a burnout video up here the first day I get it back |

Cool air cleaner. How did you get a black carb? That's sweet too just like the ride. Looking forward to that burnout video

Re: "Outkast"
I wish I was driving already, it's gettin the stereo put in now and rheas is finishing up the bed, after the stereo is done it should be almost ready for final assembly, then I still have to get the trim airbrushed on and back for one last time for more clear and color sanding, they are telling me it's gonna be ready for Texas showdown in Houston the first weekend in June, can't seem to get here fast enough though

Re: "Outkast"
I've got some updates just no pics yet, I haven't been to Rhea's since March. They are bringing the truck to Texas Showdown in 2 weeks at Sam Houston Race Park. It'll be entered as under construction. I'm thinking by then the only thing left will be wiring and the airbrushed trim. I'll take some pics when I get out to the show and post em up.

Re: "Outkast"
Love the truck! Orange is my favorite color. Hey are you planning on keeping running the antique plate? I want to but just dont think that the DOT will appreciate it and I imagine its a fat fine if you get caught. Or what do you think? Is this going to be a driver?
