Re: Here we go again.....new project

Here's a few spy pics from today.
The bed is sweet!
Brand new Mar-K bedsides with no stake pockets.
Attention to detail is just like Jeff's red '85 stepside.
Totally Stainless fasteners bolt the bed together.

For a truck that started out as a "shop truck" build,... I think it's turning into a top notch show truck build.
It's so NICE!

Love the truck and the color, but I am a little biased, that was the original color on my truck!!!!

Re: Here we go again.....new project

Decided to order new fenders, was very worried about shipping. So I went ahead and ordered a pair, they were OER with Tri-Plus stickers on them. So, the the UPS freight rig pulled up, opened the door and slid them to the back, then jumped down on the ground and pulled them most of the way out and let them drop to the ground! I guess my age is slowing me down a little, so instead of jumping in the middle of his ****, I got them inside and opened them up to inspect them before signing and they looked great! Fit great too! Ready to shoot some Rocker Shutz on the inside to slow down rock dings.

Also got my bed wood from BED WOOD and PARTS . Went with ash this time. Will apply 4 coats of ebony stain the Nason clear.

Re: Here we go again.....new project

Moving right along on thoughs fenders.

Apparently they were fairly straight and didn't require much (if any) body work.
