Re: How about some pics of lowered long beds
Quote:
I went with a 2/3 spring drop and then added 1" lowering blocks. I did install adjustable pan hard bar also at that time. Then had the alignment done. The reason why I did it that way was to minimize the amount of single spring drop in the rear so I would not have to relocate the shocks. I have 275/60/15 size tires on 8" wide wheels. It's not slammed down like most folks do, but it has a great stance and I prefer the Ol school look of this drop. On a long bed it actually looks lower than it is compared to my SWB stepper that has a 3/5 drop. It rides like a dream. Super smooth ride. Actually, the best riding vehicle I have out of 6 that I own.

Re: How about some pics of lowered long beds
Saw a pretty cool lowered long.box.bed rolling down the freeway yesterday so I thought it would be cool to bring this up again. There are some really nice trucks posted early on, and a bunch of lost pictures.
Post up your truck even if you did it back in 2010!

Re: How about some pics of lowered long beds
I know this is a super old thread, but I've been wanting to post mine on here....I finally finished my year long frame off restoration....so here is mine. '67 long bed with original 283/3 on the tree. 4/6" CPP drop with big brake kit. and apparently upside down.

Was lowered with springs when I purchased it. Not sure on the specs.

You better hide behind that stump on the dirt road.
