Thanks Shannon,

The truck was sitting too high for my taste and now its just right imo. But more importantly the owner loves it.

I stop by my buddy's house because he told me that he finally installed the grill and has been really enjoying the truck lately. Anyway I took a couple of pictures.

Looks good, like the stance. I hate to say it but the '54 grill is starting to grow on me, it doesn't look so bad to me any more

Re: What a mess just look at this.

Bam, this may seem like a stupid question, but how do you determine the angle / degrees of the clip?

Re: What a mess just look at this.

Jesse49chevy,

I responded to your post in my build thread. I asked you to call me so that we can talk about your issues in detail. Check your pm.

As far as the angle / degrees of the clip. What I do is set up the truck at its desired ride height parallel to the ground. Meaning if I want a rake I use a protractor/angle finder and figure that into the ride height also and put it up on stands at that same angle. I then install the clip at the angle it was in the donor car with the truck at ride height using a protractor/angle finder of the donors upper control arm mount (thats built into the frame). In other words I try to put the clip in with exact angle / degree that it had in the donor car. I hope that makes sense.
