Who does your powdercoating work??!?!?!?
Check out southern central. They have a rough 68 but it might have some hoops or something. I forgot. Im going to try to hunt thru there sometime soon (I enjoy it). Truck looks good, frontends gonna look nice and clean!

Re: lowdowns 72 c-10 swb
Ok. I was worried there for a second. I lowered mine 5" all around, which was the lowest we could go without cutting the frame. I just used a taller tire to fill the wheel well a little more and a smaller tire on the front. Has a slight rake to it, but nothing too bad. And i can still haul junk around if need be.

Re: lowdowns 72 c-10 swb
DAMMIT.... My name is Josh! lol.
Put a fiberglass cover in that sucker and hit those lips on a few bridges and i bet you wish you woulda listened to me You might get away with it, but for that additional 1", I'm not going through all that effort. The copper 67 C10 my pops built has a notched frame, and he still only went down 6 because he didn't want the pumpkin to hit the underside of the bed. I'm not saying yours will, just letting you know what we found out. I am sure there are plenty of people running the same setup. I just like Nasty to ride better than it looks. Nope. Told ya, I'm in san diego, Nasty is in KY. She just sits under her cover waiting for me to get back. |

Re: lowdowns 72 c-10 swb
I was running long tubes with my 327 and i only had 3.5" of ground clearance between the coupler flange and the ground. I went with a 2" lowering spring and drop spindles. Truck rides better than any vehicle i have owned. Still needs a sway bar though, which will be the first thing done to the truck as soon as i get back.
