its been a couple of weeks since i posted some work on the truck slowly getting back at it after being out of country on holiday ... but the weater is changing it rained all day to day so not real progress but here is a few pics from what ive been working on ..

did a little fall back work on the passanger side door i had to star all over
the door was oil caning i didnt pull the enough so i reworked it .. and at the dottom of the door the in an outward crease abour an inch from the bottom is this normal i have it on both sides un les the po was really good at putting them in from running thru the barbwire fence i have the same kinda work on the other door too .from being a farm truck Last edited by niterider65; 11-11-2012 at 11:03 PM. |

spent a little time on pulling the dent out of the driver door
i wish there was an easy way to get an hammer and dolly on this im afraid i got a couple of high spots to adress and dont want to pop the dent back in the fun of door repair |

to pro street or not to pro street uuummm the wheels are 16x13 if i run them i will have to run a narrow rear which i have an 9in ford that was in a
vega or do i just buy new rims and just use the tires that are 31x16.50R 16lt .mmmm |

I move the truck down to grown level to start the prep work on the roof of the tuck needed to do a final cleaning of the rain gutter and a llittle strighting of the gutter lip so i can get ready for priming and adding seam
sealer and the last pic is my step up board for the sanding for tomarrow |

one step closer to seam sealing to start por 15 the top and spaire tire braces
for the frame now ill have to wait of it to dry this week is 80's for highs and 60's for lows want it done this week so i can get the glass in |

the second set of pics its a dark grey color its temp i wanted to see if its going to be dark enough i rattle canned it i have a qt of base clear for the cab. looks like i might have small sanding to clear up be for i reprime for paint

spent a little time in the shop today and test if some of the sway bar parts and rear tire mounting bracing . the last pic is the rivit do i grind it off and grill new hole for the front of the bracket .. hope to get a three day weekend next week hope to spend it in the shop ..

spent about an hour or so in the shop be fore going to the parents for turkey
day prepreping the inside the doors for primer looks like ive got to finish getting the seam sealer off the inner edge of the doors first sunday looks good should have a hi of low 70's for priming ... work friday them off sat and sunday |

well made some progress today ???? i tooks the doors off so i can get the seam sealer off the inner lip of the doors so i get it ready just love them darn pins that hold the door stop on the door . had to use heat just hope i can get new pins . and i willl have to get new stops too the drive side came off in three pieces will have pics on the next page

had to use tape to keep the door from dropping you got to do what you can when your working by your self in the garage .. striped the p[aint off the back of the cab and started sanding inside one last time before primming ...
