Re: A tribute to "Nate"
That is beautiful. What do the dealership brass think? Cool they'd let you do stuff there.

Re: A tribute to "Nate"
I was hoping that you had one of those "trade secret" solutions... the bodywork industry really needs to innovate! I have been using sandpaper though, so I guess I will give the 3M pads a try. They seem like they would last longer... I still can't imagine getting into an inside corner with them though, like where two pieces meet at a 90 degree angle.

So is your GM going to keep the truck for himself or sell it? If he's going to keep it, then it will be nice for you to be able to see it every once in a while as a frame of reference for your future builds!

Re: A tribute to "Nate"
Thank you very much! Your truck is beautiful! Love it! We searched high and low for TRUE white interior, but no luck at all, so we dyed everything using SEM products. I have to be honest, I really didn't think it would turn out very well, but it looks perfect. You would never know it has been dyed.

Re: A tribute to "Nate"
The build is complete and the truck has been delivered to it's new owner. I have to be honest, it made us sick as we drove away leaving it in his driveway. It was a wonderful 20 mile drive to the new owners home. The truck drove perfect, and sounded awesome with the 40 series flowmasters. It was a great feeling with all the the people staring at it going down the freeway. Here are the final pictures...we hope you will follow along as we dive in to build number 2 found here...
