Hood homecoming: My truck (Bad Luck Betty) was cobbled together from parts of different years and models cars and trucks. When I brought the truck home last year it had a Chevy hood, Ford seat, unmatched doors, an engine out of a Camaro and a bumper made in a high school metal shop!
Today, with a tip of the hat to my favorite children’s author Dicy Mc Cullough, Betty has a period and date correct hood. Some day soon when I have a few extra hands, I will attempt the daunting task of hood alignment. Until then Betty will have to suffer a few more days of split personality!
