Re: project "call of duty" 72 c10
Bro my biggest fear was that it won't drive straight or front end is totally out of wack. And being that the rear end is a jaguar independent suspension toe and camber is perfect. I was blown away.
Thanks bro. Posted via Mobile Device

It's not that you did it, but the time in which you did it is incredible. My hat's off to you, sir.
We need some pix of that rear end!

Re: project "call of duty" 72 c10
It's not that I work extremely fast, but I try to be organized about the process. Always thinking of what's next. That's what keeps the ball rolling.
Tommorow my trailer fenders get delivered and I will plug away at the bed and try and finish that up. My frame work is almost done. Just need to put my fuel cell in and run brake and fuel lines. Then strip it to be painted. So I always try to keep it movin. In the end I just want to drive. Lol Posted via Mobile Device

Re: project "call of duty" 72 c10
Got my fuel cell situated. To find a fuel cell that had a total hieght of 8" was impossible without it being custom made. Big dollars. So crazy.
Anyway I settled for a 15 gal tank with a 0 to 90 ohm sending unit. I am using a Bosch fuel pump. Eternal fuel filter. When the bed is complete we are going to wood plank it. And I wanted to keep as much room as possible. So the fuel cell is going under the bed. I have 1/8 plate that will get sheared to size tomm to finish it off. hydro, awesome build, never been a huge lowrider fan but respect the fab skills to make one work and function. Diggin your build. like the paint color choice kinda subtle makes you have to look twice. Props on the fab skills an build speed.

I looked at your entire thread. Awesome work! You are a really talented fabricator. I can't believe you made an entire frame from scratch! Too cool. I look forward to seeing her when she's all done.

Re: project "call of duty" 72 c10
Thanks guys. I'm the worst at picking colors. Here is what I'm thinking.
Sea foam green base maybe white top. My 20" rims the black ones but painted. I think it's 67 front end with the trim on the side that goes over the wheel wells. Anyone know that year? Thanks for your input guy. I need it. Posted via Mobile Device

I like the Seafoam green. What color are you painting the wheels? Sorry if I missed it. Everything is looking great.

Re: project "call of duty" 72 c10
I'm loving the seafoam green. Going to go with 67 side moldings. May powder coat the wheels. Anyway.
Not much done this weekend. It's funny I have off on sat and sun but get more done during the week when I work. Ran out of argon mix. Always run out on the weekend. Just as I'm welding the trailer fenders in. Aaaaaaaahhhhhhh. So work was cut short. Oh well. Posted via Mobile Device Posted via Mobile Device

Trying to finish the bed to pass it along to my wood guy. What do you think? Picking up a 6 speed tomm. T56 out of a formula one. Can't wait.
