Re: Blazer SPID thread?
This is mine, it is base model. Does not have windows in doors or frame for wing vent. Door panels are blank with no hole for crank. No top was ordered either. It does have a passenger seat.

Re: Blazer SPID thread?
Must have been a California truck or south east where it's mostly dry. No actually if it was Cali Truck it would say have the emissions junk for to be sold there. Very interesting it has no windows except windshield. Are the window holes blocked off?

Good info there! The windowless K5's used door caps like these I believe (pic from too much stuff):

Yes the the "slot" from front to back has a plastic strip that fills it in. It was an eastern municipality vehicle, undocumented 42000 orig miles. I have these doors and lam to put them back on the truck.

Re: Blazer SPID thread?
Sorry I have no idea. That was posted by a member on another thread. It is currently located and recently purchased in the US. I'm sure there is an interesting story behind that (2wd 6-cyl) K5 though. Hopefully someone else can weigh in.

Re: Blazer SPID thread?
My 70, on the hand written sales sheet they charged $36 and change for a 350 ci option. I thought wow can't beleive they changed the motor rather then pull in a different truck ( wasn't on spid). Well they didn't , it has the og 307. They told him it had a 350 because he wanted one. The og owner did ask to add a/c and power steer, so they did. He said it wondered so bad it was almost not drivable and they could not fix it. So they went back to manual. We will se what it does when I change to power steer!?!? A/C still in place. The dealer is still hear in town. One other odd story was when he had it's only repaint the yahoo told him they could not get green but they had some red!!! Soo wish I was 3 years earlier!! This truck was totally unmolested until the paint guy. But still solid and complete, happy to have it!!

Re: Blazer SPID thread?
That's great history. Take it back to the dealer and demand the 350 he paid for

Re: Blazer SPID thread?
Yes he is, I keep in touch as I have Qs . It's very cool , he usually has a new camping or college party story. Listening to 8 track, motor running all night for a/c , camping in luxury he said" they'd be out in the rain in a tent" referring to his buds!! Good stuff ,really adds value to me!

Agree - take the PO with you speak with the dealer owner/manager and video the conversation for us! At least get his $36 back.
