Subscribed..Really nice work The Ls2 looks great in your chassis. Do you plan on using the GM harness or aftermarket?

Re: My first C10-LS2/4L70E swap

Thanks and thanks. I'm using a harness from psi conversion. I did most of the install today. I just need to make up my mind on which radiator and fans I'll use so I can finish it up. Everything went in nice and easy so hopefully it will work fine when I get to that point

Nice.. From all of the research I have done, I think the PSI conversion is the way to go. I plan on using them too. Show us some pics..

Re: My first C10-LS2/4L70E swap

So far I'm happy with the psi harness. I need to finish up some things under the dash which I can't complete until I get my new cluster in and efans installed/wired. I'll try to get some under dash and cai pics tomorrow. I also got my cai mocked up. I had to alter rhe heat shield slightly to make it fit and I want to add a bottom, top and another side to it. I. I've heard good things about BP Automotive also

Here's a few pics from today

You are making great progress on engine install. Looking forward seeing how you do your wiring under the dash. I still have completely wire mine.

Looking good Tim, It sucks that I wasn't able to ride by this weekend. Maybe next time you're in I can come see the progress.

Love the video! Congrats on getting her fired up

Have you seen how I mounted my pedal? I think it's going to work out pretty good. I'll see if I can find a picture

Edit: found the pictures, your pedal is a better design for modifying than mine but you can see the bracket I made HERE down toward the bottom of the page.

Sounds and looks great!! That's got to be a good feeling to hear it run after all of that hard work. The engine bay looks really clean👍

Thanks. It was a huge relief to hear it run. I had to bleed a little air off the fuel rail but once I did it fired right up.

I had seen it before and just looked at it again. Another member was going to send me a template of the pedal bracket he built. I didn't pm him since I knew I wouldn't have much time to tinker with the truck.

Thanks. Beyond a good feeling. Now that I know it actually runs it's like a huge weight off my shoulders. If I said I wasn't a little nervous I'd be lying lol

Re: My first C10-LS2/4L70E swap

Got my Hart_Rob gas pedal bracket installed and the transmission cooler lines plumbed. Nothing special but it's progress none the less, especially considering how busy I've been lately. Hopefully I can get a few pics tomorrow

I go back tomorrow. Spent most my days off at the lake hanging out with some family and doing some fishing. I didn't catch much but it was nice to get away and have no phone/internet for a while. I should have a few things ordered by the time I'm home next and my wheels should be in.

How's your truck? I still have your crossmember so lmk when you need it.

Man I haven't done much to the truck lately. Mainly just driving it and enjoying it when the weather is nice. It'll be a while before I do the engine swap but I'll get to it eventually.
