It's not really mine. We saw it on Facebook and thought you guys would enjoy. I guess a single person could use a stepper bed...

Re: Jason's 70 Big Block SWB Project
Well, I ordered some more goodies for my truck. A Billet Specialty steering wheel is on its way this week. I also ordered a 4/6 ECE drop kit and I think I screwed up on the spindles. The guy I bought it from already put disk brakes on the front but I wasn't sure what year they were from. According to the measurement ECE provided I ordered 71/72 spindles, after a little more research I'm pretty sure mine are 67/70. Guess I'll wait till it comes in and see the results.

Re: Jason's 70 Big Block SWB Project
I was hoping when I get back home next weekend that I would have the bed put back on and the suspension done but the spindle issue might hold me up a little. What's bad is if they are wrong it's about $50-$60 to ship them back and another $50-$60 for ECE to ship the other ones to me. The weight of the spindles makes shipping a killer from CA to WV. Like my buddy always tells me "That's part of Hot Roddin"

Re: Jason's 70 Big Block SWB Project
Jason, I messed my order up on my drop spindles too. I wanted the modular spindles and I ended up ordering module ductile iron spindles. I didn't know the difference. I ended up just asking for a store credit and I'm going to wait till I order the CPP big brake kit and save a little cash that way. I did end sending the wrong ones back which cost me money and then as you mention I'd pay again to have the right ones shipped to me.

Re: Jason's 70 Big Block SWB Project
We'll I finally got back from my 9 day work adventure, now I can relax for a couple days. (That's what my wife thinks) Looks like the little brown truck was here while I was going. If everything goes well I should bring it home Saturday evening

Re: Jason's 70 Big Block SWB Project
Looking good Jason, it didn't take long at all for those parts to arrive. I really like the steering wheel, thats one I keep going back to when I'm searching.

Re: Jason's 70 Big Block SWB Project
I hope you don't have to either, but I hear that ECE is easy to deal with if you need parts exchanged.
