Thanks Rick! Coming along slowly, but surely!

Re: "Old Olive" 1970 C10 porterbuilt build

Got the rear end back from powdercoat and the axle shop got the 4.10s in with the narrowed Moser axles and Moser diff cover. I was trying to keep it under wraps but I guess this let's the cat out of the bag that I'm doing the frame in white powdercoat. I know, I know, it'll never stay clean but every one does black and honestly black shows just as much dirt as white. So dare to be different, I think it looks so sick! With the trucks white roof to tie it in. $$$$

I think it looks awesome.

When I was ordering my toolbox from Matco, I ordered a 6 series triple bay in Pale Horse White. Not the regular color for a toolbox and a lot of people said it would get dirty and look bad quick. But it looks amazing and no easier to get dusty than any other color. Not like a truck frame rolling down the road but my guess is it will not be as bad as people think.

Sweet, thanks! I'll look into the 4" wider ones when I get to that point!

Thanks man and I agree, why not go unique and make it truly one of a kind? The white is going to be super slick.

My mom always had the best advice. It was just a tad late. After a fall that involved blood, she'd say....."Careful!"

Thanks man. I'm probably gonna raise the factory steel bed floor and widen the factory wheel tubs. I'll also have the center section hinged to open up like a tonneau cover

The current ones are 1" wider than stock. I'll have some that are 4" wider than stock in a couple of weeks that will accommodate 15" wide wheels.
