Hoods on! And for anyone using the factory radiator in an ls swap I used a napa brand radiator hose #7364 this is the lower. I had to cut three inches off but worked like a charm. Upper hose which is the factory hose for a 2002 silverado went on good with some soap to lube it up.

Now I Need help bad! I was just throwing my slave on the mount for the clutch and I noticed the clutch arm hits the bellhousing right as the throw out bearing meets the pressure plate. Does anyone have a clue what the hecks wrong? Advance tells me everything is right. Obviously its not though..

Do you have any adjustment on the pivot ball for the fork. Is this an Advanced Adapters bell housing and hydraulic clutch. hard to tell looking at the pictures.

Got any info on it? Its driving me nuts not knowing whats wrong with this.

I don't have any info on the AA kit. I'm using Chevy bell housing and hydraulic clutch on my LS, NV4500 swap and you are further along than I. I should be installing my engine and trans this week end. I wish I had more info that would help you.

On your chevy bellhousing how does the pivoting ball adjustment work? Just in and out I assume?

Lance, here is a pic of mine when I had issues. I used an adjustable pivot ball. The other issue is that your throwout bearing may not be long enough and consequently requires the fork to move to far to actuate the clutch. If this is the case
you will need to do some measuring to get the proper throwout bearing. I was not able to use the one that came with my clutch. I had to order a very long throwout bearing and my clutch fork doesn't have to move far at all to actuate the clutch.
Novak conversions has a write up on throwout bearings and how to measure for them to be correct for your setup. They have several methods so you don't necessarily have to pull it all apart if that is indeed your issue. Hate to say it, but sound
like it might be.

Thanks Chris, Mine is bolted in from the front of the bellhousing. Its not really adjustable but theres over an inch of threads on it. I'm thinking Ill just put a spacer on it to see how that looks.

Finally got the transmission figured out works great, shifts good! I had a guy come out and got the computer flashed...... And it runs great!!! Been driving it around here and there.

Maybe you guys will like this. Was doing some field work around a old building site and they have this old skidloader sitting there. When I was eating lunch I went and checked it out. Wouldnt ya no it, had a straight six gm motor in there. I was totally amazing obviously not factory but was cool seeing it in there.

Okay so now that it's running I thought I better give you guys a little idea on whats gonna go on here in the future. Now that I have the truck together I will start buying patch panels for it. Probably buy a new tailgate and bumper to start off. Then get new radiator, electric fans, and get my a/c unit also. The new patch panels won't go on till after summer so I can enjoy driving the old rust bucket. I need to get new suspension parts for it. I plan on going with the ord shackle flip kit in the rear but what do you guys suggest for the front? Can I just order 4 inch soft ride leave spring for the front? Let me know what you guys think, if I should just go with a regular lift kit or stay with the ord flip kit.

The size of the throw-out bearing is the issue. Like I posted earlier the pivoting balls threads were like an inch and a half long. So I placed a spacer between the bell and the ball and shifts like a dream.
