I just stumbled on your build. Excellent truck and build. Of course I'm prejudice, but your truck color is beautiful. You met my truck and I at SETN last July. I am looking forward to watching the rest of your build.

Impressive progress for just a couple quick years! Looking great.
How was it welding the PS tank hole? How slow do you have to go to keep everything straight?

Re: My last hoorah...1972 K20 Cheyenne Super frame off
My son Tig welder it in...he would do about a quarter inch and cool it off with blower nozzle.
Then go to the other side ad repeat. Slow process but on a flat area it's easy to warp the panel. |

Parchment door panels all cleaned up and ready.
Wanted to buy new but no viable options that were available..mine are good except for 1 extra screw hole some dumbass added..most will never notice but for now they'll work fine until I find a nice pair. |

They look great. At least the extra hole is on the passenger side. Nice door panels are getting hard to find in any color.

Not, sure if it was a dumbass or not I have seen quite a few with a screw in the same location. I wouldn’t sweat it.
