I sure hope so. I didn't get anything done over the Thanksgiving weekend but did a little today. Started to shave the right bedside steak pockets and shaving more unnecessary holes in the floor.

Well I hope today marks the last day for metalworking the truck. I hope to get the interior, jambs, firewall and inside of the bed painted and placed on the chassis permanently. Here is some more of the metalworking that was done. I didn't like the seam on the interior roof panel on the right side so it was cut and made better. Realy didn't find any rust so that was good. I also finished shaving the steak pockets on the right bedside.

Yes they do. LOL. Here is the last of the metal work needed on the cab. I had to instal the paint devider trim pins seeing how this cab was never two toned.. It's now ready for a little body work and paint.

I have a stinger that welds pins on the body to pull dents. It also does the little pins for the division bar clips.

Well it ready to be bodyworked and the interior, jambs, and firewall to be painted. I also repaired the original radiator core support from my Blazer to be used in the build. It means a lot to me to have it as part of this truck.

Very nice repair on the core support. Nice work on the trim clip stud install. On a side note, have you ever seen those studs installed incorrectly from the factory? My cab on my orange truck that trim goes down hill from the left to the right. When I stripped it for repaint, the studs looked to be original. I didn't realize it was uneven until I put the bed on the truck after the cab was painted and the trim re installed. Go figure. I just ignore it and my thought was to put an above rail tool box on it to hide it.

Did the same thing on my cab with the same gun. Worked really well but when I started doing the body work and block sanding I found out putting the studs on left low spots around all the studs on the back side of the cab where its flat and more app to warp . Had alot of time fixing it around the studs with filler and high build primer. Glad I'm not doing that again anytime soon.

Her are a couple pictures of the progress. It's not much, but it's a little. I have the front and rear ends rebuilt and installed along with her tow hooks powder coated and installed.

Are the rearend ubolts the same as on 1972 k20 and do u have anymore 72 4wd shifter ball

Yes I have several shifter knobs in stock. They are in my website www.classicheartbeat.com I am not sure about the size of the "u" bolts though. I took it in to have the interior, firewall, back of cab and inside of bed painted. Next time you see it, it will be on the chassis for it's final time.
