This is an np440 out of a 1985 c10 comes with shifter, linkage and ,bearing and seal kit the trans shifted good but would grind shifting into 2nd gear could use a rebuild doing a t5 swap so i no longer need it

My dad bought this new in 1977 and it has been impeccably maintained its whole life…a true time capsule

Recent full tune up, all fluids flushed and replaced with all synthetic including trans flush, new filter & pan gasket plus Lucas synthetic trans fluid.

Small block 350 my dad rebuilt about 25-30k miles ago with lots of life left(150-155psi compression across the board) and Turbo 350 trans

Several new parts including master cylinder and 4 row aluminum radiator.

Newer Edelbrock 650 carb

Dual tanks

Rear disc brake conversion and 1 ton leaf springs

Full tow package

Dual battery setup with isolator

PS , AC , PB , CC , PDL

Fully Rhino lined bed

Zero major rust issues.

2 large bins of spare parts, hoses, belts and a huge amount of misc. parts.

Large folder filled with entire history of receipts and maintenance records

Runs and drives perfect

That one was for sale in LA. Its on the craigslist list from maybe last summer. Very common for seller to ask for phone number. First people represent themselves as local when theyre not. Second some sellers will only deal with phone calls

Mark, I agree that is a little odd - but, having experienced the joys of selling on CL before, I'm assuming he's wanting to reach out to a human rather than get a zillion robo calls (like I did when I listed my phone number on CL). I bet he wants to know if a prospective buyer is relatively close by and is willing to share a phone # like a human would. Seems that if it were data mining, they'd want your actual email address and physical street address, etc. But I don't know - you raise a great question - I didn't catch that statement at the bottom, agree it's a little odd and I'd be more comfortable with a phone number for ME to call rather than some dude asking for mine up front. Fortunately, although I do really like this truck, for some reason I'm just personally not a fan of the square egg-crated-ness of the 80 grille. I could live with it since I prefer the sub-Silverado round headlights, but for some reason I just prefer the pre-80 grille inserts. Weird, I know - and this is a real nice truck - and pretty close to me. It has been for sale before, but it's been a little while.

Great point, as always, and buyer beware, as always. But I would lean toward thinking this is probably a legit ad.

Reason I say it is I’ve bought several cars on Craigslist and I always use a dump email account . Many times I would email someone never get a reply and suddenly the email is blown up with everything from car warranties to Russian escort services .

My mother in-law lives there. I can send her to pick it up and drive it out to you, she LOVES roadtrips and has people in Louisiana she'd be more than happy to visit lol. That is a hell of a deal though.
