Re: Daverods project 66

Dennis how much did that cost to do that? I know that one doesn't have any glass in it, but wonder if you could ship it with glass installed and not have it break.

No glass, and I don't know what it cost. The guy that bought the cab arranged to have it shipped. He even paid me for the ratchet ties, and the shrink wrap. I already had the flat. It went to Hawaii. Lucky Cab.
You have to call UPS with the size and weight. They will give you a quote, and what to do to ship it.

$800 from Texas to Pocatello. A little less if it's takin to a loading dock. I'll bet Hawaii was cheaper because it's shipped via water. Found a bed for 200. I think I should get it just because.

I think they'll do air drops. You might need some air bags.

Re: Daverods project 66

Dave,
I am very sorry but the clip is not better any than what you have. Since i was there last apparently the huge forklift they use to move cars around with decided that 65 would be a good target. The front end was caved in and would not be any better than your stuff. This sure was a nice clip when i first saw it a few weeks back. I saw this truck the day they brought it in and it was super nice. My dad has both front fenders, grill support, bumper & grill he said he would sell for $100.00. They are pretty decent shape as pictured below. The hood, core support and inner fenders are gone. Let me know it this might work for you and i will get it banded up and shipping price for ya.
Zack

Not me!!!! I am here for the laughs too!!!

Get the bed Dave , It has an axle under it you might need!!! And a tool box too!! That makes it worth the purchase price.
You can haul your own ladder around to job sites.
Stamp out trunkers!!!

The description of a "trunker" I heard was that "you carry your tools in the trunk of your car and borrow ladders from everybody else"!
So if you have your own ladder, I would think you are OK.
Is Mud pond really Mud Lake ?? That is quite a drive away from Poky

1hr 15 min one way. I 15 most the way. I was a nice drive saw a huge heard on buffalo. Nice bed for the future. Couple rust holes where the bed supports hold the bed. Small dent in the side. Nice tailgate,
