Thanks, don't worry, I'm sure you'll get your chance soon. This truck has been in and out of the shop more than I can think right now.

Awesome truck man!

Are those MT Classic IIs? I really like the looks of those, but I didn't want to mess with polishing them all the time, so I got something in chrome.

I really like those "6 359" badges on the front fenders. That really sets it off nice!
Truck looks great. It must be a great feeling after so much hard work you put into it.

No, haven't taken it to a scale yet. Things keep coming up and I haven't done it yet.

Re: Finally starting my Longhorn 4x4 conversion

Not only is this finished product pretty awesome, but I can't believe how quickly it came together. Just a few weeks ago it still looked like 2 years into a 3 year project. Now, whiz-bang, it's done...

Sitting in the parking area waiting for us to push it back in the shop. I don't consider it a big project since it's over 60% done. Haha

Thanks! The truck isn't done, done, but it is togetherish enough to go show it off. Later on I still have some stuff to change. I don't want to get it too far done until I change the front suspension out.

Re: Finally starting my Longhorn 4x4 conversion

Today we took the truck to the local Co-op and weighed it. I was shocked it is so lite....................

Front axle weighs 3680

Truck weighs 6140

I thought it would have been closer to 7000lbs with all the stuff that has been added.

Exactly. 70% of the stuff is up front. I'll be changing some stuff later to help it, but it'll be fine for now.

oh man, this thing wont be ready for a long time. the design guy/fab dude is a **** head extraordinaire. he'll take for ever especially since he wants to have his "done" first. what a dick....

LMFAO! No need to hack the fire wall unless I was going to move the engine back 6". Yours will probably be heavier on the front than mine because your frame is boxed clear up.

Re: Finally starting my Longhorn 4x4 conversion

Is there more seat pics? Hows the fit? I've got a 90 chevy seat in mine. I like the height, and the back is pretty slim so it has a little more leg room than a stock seat. It just seems a little narrow. The dodge ones are a little more comfortable, and I think they're wider.
