Re: dinos 64 soon to be a long bed dually
I have to figure out how to do this without any deck. I always thought you need to a deck to control the amp. Its a great idea, I love running a radio delete plate. Truck turned out great ! This is very cool !

Re: dinos 64 soon to be a long bed dually
Dino, I'm looking for a few people that may want to park at the RPM HOTRODS Booth over the weekend. We are out here giving the RPM/GoodGuys Giveaway car away this weekend and are a little short on cars for the booth. Let me know if you or anyone may be interested. I'll see you Friday night too. Thanks Curt

Re: dinos 64 soon to be a long bed dually
dino the interior looks great dbom did a good job! where did you get the dash guages from and did you have to use a 90 ohm fuel sending unit? one more question, how are you guys running the ipod to the amp so it looks like you dont have a stereo?? i really like that idea, i was thinking about the stock looking stereo that takes the ipod, mp3 player! dont have to worry about the cd skipping that way, lol!!! i think i'm liking the delete plate with the ipod hooked to the amp more now!

Hey Dino or Dbomb. I'd love to get an answer to this quote as well. Those door panels really look nice!

Re: dinos 64 soon to be a long bed dually
Door panels were fastened using "Au-ve-co" clips. Part number 11406. They're metal clips about an inch long. Heres a pic.
Posted via Mobile Device Posted via Mobile Device I drilled 1/4" holes about a 1/2" from the edge of the door panel, aprox 6" apart. This allowed for the door panel to be secured without it popping off. The metal clips allow you to remove the panel without problems. Hope that helps Posted via Mobile Device Posted via Mobile Device

Re: dinos 64 soon to be a long bed dually
Went to Goodguys specifically to see your dually! Should have said whats up but you looked pretty busy trying to fix your door lock. Truck looks amazing! Ive been following the build since day one and I know its cliche to say but pictures do not do this truck justice, you have to see it in person. Here are a few pictures I took of the dually and two "pretty well known" trucks parked next to it. Sorry about the poor cell phone quality, forgot my camera at home
