May not make it but I am going to try my best. That is all I can say. I should have the truck back this weeks so I can pull it apart and send everything to polish and powder then back together for the last time I hope.

Box looks amazing. Was wondering if there was someplace on it where you could incorporate a few speed holes in stainless or something to go with the rest of it. Looks killer bro

Re: Tootsie build for my mother with cancer

I am curious about the material on your speaker box. I am guessing it is "furry" material that will absorb fiberglass resin? If it is I would want to know what it is called. I will be building a center console and this could come in handy. thanks

If Im not mistaken, that fuzzy material is just fleece. The fibers absorb the fiberglass resin and turn rock hard once its cured. Then sand it down, and add your body filler(or whatever they use these days for added flexibility) to your liking, and then paint it like anything else.

I'm thinking that's Dacron. Just a little padding that I bet he's gonna upholster over.

Re: Tootsie build for my mother with cancer

Thanks guys inner fenders are done and I will get you guys pics tonight. I will be putting the truck on the lift to start the exhaust. That is a fleece and it is mad for this application. They have different thickness depending on if you are building an amp rack, box or kick panels. After the fleece is placed you cover it in resin and then it is sanded and body filler is added. Really cool stuff.

WOW this truck is sick! That's some amazing fab work on the frame, the old school graphic on the door is awesome and REALLY like that sub box too... Just to name a few things.

Eric, just a comment that may not be correct...with your truck planned to be as low as it is, do you want your brake lines running under your frame? At that point your frame may kick up and it's not as low as it looks right there but I can't tell. It looks like, if needed, you might be able to run your lines through that speed hole in front of your Wilwood adj bias. Again, that's how it looks in the pic but may not be the case.

The whole thing looks awesome!!! A thing of beauty!!!.
