Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Part II
Just got this 1970 beauty 2 weeks ago. Will rebuild the quadrajet and replace the valave cover gaskets this weekend in order to make it a daily driver. Replacing the bed floor with diamond plate steel, trying to be different. This will never be a show truck but one day it will be smoking fast, keeping it a long bed as well!

Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Part II
Hi. I'm new to this forum, signing in from Norway. I bought this 68 recently. It's my first "old" car. My daily drive is an 2003 Avalanche.

Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Part II
For now, I'd like to just fix the negative rake on it right now. The back springs are making it about an inch lower in the back. I'm not sure what's in there right now as it was done when I bought it and I haven't looked into it yet. I'm going to powder coat these wheels black and then look to get some new wheels next year. I'd also like to fix a little bit of the body and put a nicer flat black paint job on it. The other thing that's bugging me right now is that it has a newer 350 in it with a large Holley on it and it's running rich so I have to tune the carb. It's going to be fun though! Thanks!

Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Part II
Long time lurker. This place has changed a TON since I last posted. LOL
Just brought this home Saturday. Texas truck (still titled in texas!) LOADED with options. LOL Non-running 250(?) CID (pushrods are out so it's probably ugly inside) Rear view. The bed looks like a factory metal floor? I thought stepsides only came with wood floors? I also purchased a 1967 plate the very same day. Thank you smartphone technology. Immediate plans are to get it running and enjoy it. It's gonna be at least a year before I have the funds to get serious about rebuilding it. Last edited by supercheyenne; 09-02-2013 at 01:39 AM. I have a very similar pic that I took. I also took a pic with my phone to use for the wallpaper.

It's Labor Day so I took the beast out for a long drive. There's something about old trucks in the desert.
