Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds Part 2

Sweet little 67 C10 short box. $16700. Not mine. I would bet this was a fleet or commercial truck, or maybe a fire department rig from somewhere cold.

https://portland.craigslist.org/yam/...539844154.html

1967 Chevy pickup truck
Original paint
Original interior
Buddy buckets
6cyl 3spd
Paint is original
Awesome patina
Ready for LS swap

Mods:
Gas tank relocated under bed
Corner gas fill added
LS pump in tank
Gas lines ran for LS swap to engine bay
Bed cut down
C-notch plates installed

91,xxx original miles

16” original wheels
Will come with factory white c10 caps

Includes:
Windshield gasket
Rear window gasket
Lowering shocks
Power steering box and pump with brackets to put on 6 cyl
Color matched original automatic column
Lowering springs
Toyo LT tires 65k miles with 5k on them.
6 lug disc brakes -new
Belltech 3” dropped spindles- new
Front sway bar-

Truck is originally from the Chelias area
Go look at all the other truck out there and then come look at this one. No rust in the bed, no rust in the front sheet metal. Cab has the smallest amount in the cab floor near the kick panel. None in the rear corners or doors. Doors not cut for speakers. Super clean truck.

Don’t respond with out a contact number. Title in hand.

You are probably right but if everything is there not a big deal to fix or insstall new compressor. Its when the compressor & brackets are removed then its a problem.

Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds Part 2

69 Duramax project $8000. Not mine.

https://salem.craigslist.org/pts/d/s...515475922.html

Please read the ad completely to avoid unnecessary questions.
Need to eliminate a project. I'm getting too old and I'm not healthy enough anymore to finish both my long time projects. The following items are included in the sale.
Primed cab that is almost ready for paint with some new parts already installed. It is a A/C cab. I have clear title for the cab in my name. The orange cab is toast but does have some usable parts. Comes with Ford Dana 60 high pinion front axle and a 14bolt FF to match drivers side transfer case drop. Rear axle has 3.73 gears and front has 3.54 but I have a used 3.73 ring and pinion to swap out the front to match the rear, Comes with a LLY Duramax engine that does not run. The guy I purchased it from said it quit driving down the road and would not restart. I pulled the exhaust manifolds off and found oil or diesel coming from the left side of the engine into the turbo. Suspect maybe cracked piston so engine may need to be rebuilt. Comes with Allison 1000 out of a 2005 with 200k miles on it but was working as it took the truck to the scene of the accident. I was going to freshen it up but could be ran as is. Comes with NP261XHD transfer case that has been freshened up and is ready to go. I have wiring harnesses and computers for the engine and transmission. Comes with a Chevy front clip that needs some rust repair on the fenders but have the pieces to repair them. Comes with a bed that is pretty good. Comes with a few boxes of misc. parts. If you're interested in taking over this project, please email me for a time to come see it. Due to phone number harvesting, I won't call you until I'm convinced, you're a player and that will be when you're standing here. Want to sell as a package deal. I can help transport for a fee. It has taken me years to gather this stuff.
Cash only, no trades.

I contacted the seller and got the spid and very well equipped truck. I'm awaiting some more pics and info. Been wanting a decent Longhorn for a while now.

Well, I would have thought it strange if the A/C was complete and operational.

The VIN was added to the auction's description and it looks like it started life as a 68 Chevy V8 4wd Suburban.
