This is Frankenstein. I bought it for $500 from a friend who said it's kind of a Frankenstein since it has bits and pieces from everything. I cleaned it up a bit, put a starter and battery in it. Truck runs great, but has some leaks that need fixed. I just hope to make it a daily driver.

Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Part II

Here is my 72 3/4 ton. It has a late model Vortec 355, small Comp roller cam, Performer intake, 600 carb, 1" spacer, Hedman headers, 3.54 gears. I have a chassis dyno so I have tweaked the combo for all it's worth. It currently makes 260whp and I use it to tow my 26' enclosed goose neck race car trailer.

Nice truck...green 72's are my favorite. Good power output too, bet it is a great TV.

It tows it great. Most of my friends think I'm crazy for towing a 100k race car with an old truck. Even my wife tells me to go buy a new dually but I really just like old trucks and have zero interest in a new one. I will be towing my race car to SEMA this year with the 72. I think it's about 1200 miles each way from Seattle to Vegas and I can't wait. Most people would think driving an old truck 2400 miles would be pure hell. I would like to put cruise control in it though. If only someone made a nice GPS based cruise control.

I have cruise control on my RV...the only place I can use it is where its flat (like FLA), any kind of hills and it shifts up and down more than I care for...may be the same with your trailer.

Nice starting point. Looks like a long bed, are you cutting it down or doing a long step?

Steppers are nice but I tend to lean towards a fleetside myself. Looks good.
