Re: What did you do to your truck today!

I installed an OG 69 Guide Right side turn signal lens that I found on eBay. The old one was broken and then patched up with epoxy that yellowed.

I put a cigarette lighter into the socket. I bought a lighter assembly that came from a GMC from tll74 on this here site. I needed a lighter to fill the empty hole in the dash. It matches my Chebby just fine.

You can say that again about the gas, it nuts over here, we are paying $1.18 per litre (there is about 41/2 litre to a gallon here) do the math..it bites.

Replace a bad exhaust/intake gasket on my 250 L6. There was an exhaust leak that sounded terrible. I repainted my shorty headers since they were off.

Try to find one of the newer sleeve type seal filler tubes to replace the old O-ring style one on your truck. They run around $30 new.

I have made my own from junk yard donor parts when I couldn't get a new one to fit my needs. Cut off the sleeve type seal from the donor part and weld it to the original O-ring type tube. You have to cut some length off of the original tube to seat the seal properly and get the right fluid level reading.

Fixed my aftermarket wiper washer pump. Simple fix, needed to come apart and a quick lube to the pump mechanism.
