Re: What Did You Do With Your Truck Today ?

Mounted my new Coker tires. The porta-walls were fine but I needed one tire and couldn't match the other three, so bought these. They took very little weight to balance, and one didn't need any. that makes me think that they are probably quality tires.

Bought a set of ram horn exhaust manifolds for $50.
Seem pretty clean. Codes on them show to be from a '65 corvette

will do.going to try to get it home sunday.it's in really bad shape.i build wrecks everyday so i can do the metal and paint but the frame choices are going to take some head scratching.it's all original except the engine but he's got two 235(?) engines for it.i'm wanting to find another factory frame(just can't bring myself to cut the factory frame, feelings run to deep) and do a mustang 2 front with a ls engine.

Just ordered up the all the bed sills... Also waiting to hear on some six lug Chevy wheels that I learned about from a friend. Someone is apparently ready to let 'em all go for 50 bucks! Piece by piece, we're gonna get this thing done... Only 18 days until Spring!

Re: What Did You Do With Your Truck Today ?

Wiring, lots of driving around to get extra connectors, wire etc. Pulled the back harness and found the gas tank sender wire is too short, so I called it a night. Also noticed master cylinder number two is weeping a little, I am going to continue pumping it and hope it seals up when I get it running and some heat to the unit. I am not going to replace it until I get this on the road.

Re: What Did You Do With Your Truck Today ?

have 58 chevy apache, tried to replace fuel sending unit.
has clutch head screws. thought it would be a 2 hours job.
4 hours later, broke one screw ,4 are stripped. now I have to
go buy a extractor kit . I hate clutch head screws and bolts.

I pulled off the front bumper, and had started getting the front clip off.
Pulled of the speaker grill to have it beaded and primed
