Re: A '54 named Busty
Took her on the freeway for the first time today, and stretched her legs a little bit, only problem is terrible front suspension squeaking, sounds like I'm a Foster Farms driver transporting baby chicks! and this is after a hefty dose of silicon anti squeak spray, so I am open to ideas and suggestions on how to make it stop, please and thank you

Re: A '54 named Busty
Do you have a heim joint supporting your steering shaft? Mine was squeaking and a little silicone lube took care of that.

Re: A '54 named Busty
poured a little milk on the stock OEM intake manifold, this is one of a few parts GM didn't hit with the Ugly Stick too hard (just has that large ugly wire harness conduit opening on one side, otherwise it's nice and symmetrical)
I may do some plastic welding and delete that divot some day... possibly never First one to get the AC / DC reference wins $7 bucks in bit coin. Last edited by Gregski; 05-14-2021 at 04:30 PM. |

Re: A '54 named Busty
No, no seats. Used it on the dash and the black trim pieces on a 79 Jeep Cherokee.

Re: A '54 named Busty
Or it could be this:
Late AC/DC singer Bon Scott was known for his wild ways and Malcolm Young could be spotted sporting a handle of Jack Daniels as big as he was, but Angus Young doesn’t drink. At all. In fact, you’ll only ever see the AC/DC guitarist knocking back a nice, cold glass of chocolate milk or the occasional cup of coffee. Got milk? https://societyofrock.com/7-things-a...cdc-fans-know/

Re: A '54 named Busty
Yeah! I won! And all those years ago, mom said listening to AC/DC would rot my brain.
Looking at Busty right after reading the Rusty thread just points out how different yet same your trucks are. Busty = Round body, LS motor, green paint with patina, black wheels-white letters out Rusty = Square body, LS motor, green paint, black wheels-black walls out You need to do a side by side glamour shot of your rigs. I'd vote for a calendar showing.
