Re: What did you do to your truck today!

Got all psyched to do my rear brakes. C-20 with an Eaton rear end so you have to pull the axles to get the drums/hubs off. Good news was my brake shoes were already good to go and I didn't make too much of a mess of the driveway.

They were 73 stock spindles. Installed in 2007, and I know my truck doesn't have over 600 miles on it since the install. Only thing I can think of is I did not have enough bearing grease. Other than that, I dont have a clue.

Should be ready by the end of the day to make the CPP cruise tomorrow.

Re: What did you do to your truck today!

Woo hoo, beautiful day today! I got my heater hoses and vents in, front seat and all but 2 seat belts on front seat AND my factory shoulder belts . Carpet tacked down, and holes marked for installation of other 2 seats. Lots of little odds and ends painted, ready to go in tomorrow, ashtray, shifter boot holder bracket thingie, and started cleaning up my new (to me) inside door panels, getting them ready to paint tomorrow. Its so awesome for my truck to actually START when I turn the key, I just dont know how to act. Tomorrow, puller out of hibernation and giver her bath, then take her out for a country cruise and hope nothing else breaks, lol

Re: What did you do to your truck today!

Bought a 90's F350 bench with head rests at the stadium swap and installed it today for the prefit. Very little mod to get it in, then took it Back out to have it re-upholstered on Monday.

Re: What did you do to your truck today!

Went and started the 70 for the first time this year. Fired up on the first try. Can't get much better than that since it went in storage in December.
