Thanks Mark, I can't wait till the sand and buff is done. It's so time consuming and messy....

Thanks Keith. I am starting to get the hang of the process. It's unbelievable how much effort it takes but the end result is worth all the trouble.

The guys that charge the big $$ for paint jobs earn every penny.
When you go to a car show and see those over the top paint jobs, it makes you realize how much time they spent on it. It also makes you realize how high that bar can be set. Mine will be a nice driver paint job but I can say I did it myself

Looks great Mike! The red is going to look good with the trim. You have me second guessing my choice to go without trim now.

Mike, that thing is looking slick. It will be nice for you to be able to say that you did it yourself.

Looks sooo good man! I gotta get busy... What'd you use for seam sealer on the drip rails? How much did you lay down?

Thanks Jason. It's good thing I haven't kept track of my time on this project....

Thanks for the compliment. I used Plio Grip by Valveline. LINK
. I used the self leveling for the top of the roof drip rail and the non sag on the back sides of the drip rail. It took one kit of each. On the rest of the cab I used Evercoat two part Evercoat Maxim. I recommend sticking with the Plio-Grip. I had some problems with the Evercoat on the roof and had to re-do it. LINK.

Thanks a lot Eddie. It's really coming along. It's weird, almost like doing all the final prep work again plus buffing and polishing. I should have it all pretty well done this week. Every panel will need to be detailed polished properly before assembly. There's still many faint hazy spots that will drive me nuts.

How's your paint coming along? You have my shirt designed yet? (69-70 grill).
