Re: Tootsie build for my mother with cancer

Thanks guys that supercharger was real pain, I am super happy with the pain but not the polish. The casting was a little rough and the polisher had a hell of a time getting it to luster. Also I did not get a bare casting I got it powder coated so that made it really tough. I think with all that is going on with the truck the blower will look fine

My mom always had the best advice. It was just a tad late. After a fall that involved blood, she'd say....."Careful!"

Re: Tootsie build for my mother with cancer

The blower looks sweet! I can appreciate the work that went into the polish/paint on it. I started Polishing mine and i will only have a couple small pieces of the blower assembly polished. The powder coat is just too thick.

Everything looks dope!

Words cannot begin to express the awesomeness of this build!

But, I've been gone a while, did I miss out on how the shirt situation is coming?

Re: Tootsie build for my mother with cancer

Hay guys sorry I have not been on here in a few days. I have been putting in a ton of hours working building a new office and trying to get Tootsie done. I have not made a ton of progress because I have lost some motivation due to the long work week and my mom has been in the hospital for two weeks. We almost lost her due to the chemo almost took her out. She is septic right now but fighting. So it has been a tough two weeks. Her 66 birthday is Sunday and she will get to spend it in the icu. She is not to happy about this but we don't have a choice. I appreciate everyone on the board and thank you for you support as it means the world to me. So here are a few pics of the truck. I managed to blow it apart last night and now it's time to finish the air ride fine tune the frame and off to powder coat. Mario and I joked last night all she needs is a cage over the rear and you would have a funny car frame. Enjoy

Eric, prayers from the north, by the sounds of it she is a very tough lady.

Remember time with your mom is more important than any peice of metal.

Re: Tootsie build for my mother with cancer

Eric, I hope your Mom gets better and beats the cancer, I've been following your build it is just awesome work. I showed your build off over the holidays to my family, I think some of them needed some teeth fixed from their jaws hitting to the ground . Keep up the good work. Prayers for your family at this difficult time.
