I love that truck. Forget the short bed, lwb's are cool.

Of course I'm biased, I drove a brand new twin to that truck, off the lot in 69. My dad bought it new, I was 17. He sold it in 76 and it went to Wichita, KS.

Put chrome bumpers on it, get the air working and drive the wheels off of it.

i agree with the chrome bumpers, looks like these are bed lined. and i agree with getting the air working, texas is hot.

i guess i've never considered a long bed. i need to one in person i guess.

Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds

Here's one in Canada, price is in Canadian dollars: Pretty nice looking truck, with 20 years of documentation on the service history:

Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds

Those Canadian trucks show miles, not KM. Km changeover was much later, I'm guessing mid to late 70s.

Agreed. Ad says he had them in a C10, though, so they may work for someone.

Here is a '72 C20, 3/4ton that I found.......let's say 'interesting'.....lol.
I'm not sure if I am 120% ok on the pricing which is perhaps why it has been available for sale for quite a while.
Regardless...any of us can ask whatever we want for our vehicles....its a free country.

Check it out...

But NADA says it's worth $31k so it must be realistic Maybe a $10k truck realistically on the west coast and $15k on the east coast, but lots of guys still goin off NADA and TV prices.

Yea, he's insane. That's a $6-8000 truck even on the East coast, High hopes for everyone in the classic truck selling world, it's been that way for awhile now, just throw in some TV shows and Barrett and there you go.

The biggest problem with this one is that its been to the salt crusted beach enough times to have a set of sand tires. Hoquiam is right on Grays Harbor in the ocean air.

But.. it's propane. Ha. I love the period topper, but a 30k truck shouldn't have a crunched front bumper like that unless Daisy Duke is in the passenger seat.

That little stepper in CA is one sweet truck. Real time warp.

Wonder what price it will fetch?

Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds

Here's a good example of guys trying to bank off the short bed 4x4 prices seen at auction. But there are some guys actually believe they are worth these prices. This truck is rusted out and need a ground up restoration. Might be a swb K10 but it's not worth near the asking price.
