Re: "Rice Rocket'
I got tailgate trim clips brand new now lol
Im going junkyarding in some new yards soon hopefully.... I attached my tailight trim with 3 clips but there is 4 holes I could've put a 4th but didnt seee the need. I need driver side tailgate trim piece, and passenger side tailight bezel. (Straight, I can polish em up) I think ima try oven cleaner to get the adnoized off next time and see whats up, the 1st attempt was splotchy where the coating was still on there i assume?)

Re: "Rice Rocket'
Checked fuel pressure today (i have edelbrock 600/stock pump). Im getting 8-10 psi fuel pressure at 1000 rpms-750rpms WAY to much
Going to get a regulator and bring it down to about 5.5 (what edelbrock recommends) THEN NO MORE NASTY BROWN STAINS ON MY INTAKE MANIFOLD HOPEFULLY BETTER IDLE QUALITIES AND STARTING QUALITIES!

Re: "Rice Rocket'
Think I just scored a radio delete the factory color of my truck off the board. Couldnt pass it up for the price has rust etc (just like my dash does) and a very small hole drilled in it but hopefully i can get it mounted and complete more of my poverty stricken truck build (cig lighter delete, radio delete, heck a heater delete when i find one)
gotta get my spotlight installed with clips/correct template from junkyard and get trim on, fuel pressure regulator, get my timing right, carb right oil leaks gone, solid cab, smaller backup bulb, some heater controls, metal wiper blades, fix my wiper switch that quit, rubber mats sound deadening material, weld some holes, pull some dents, more baby blue rustoleum, better tailgate/headboard/doors/hood/. Thats about all, maybe a cam swap but we'll see about that after i get it running 110%

Re: "Rice Rocket'
thats funny, Happy Birthday, I remember back then i had army recruiters calling/mailing me all the time but not for me. The best i can tell you is if you want to do something do it as soon as possible it took watching my uncle dying of cancer in his 50's for me to realize that. That why i've been running all over the country just driving etc. to see america and Route 66 I used to put off stuff not anymore.
