Re: 1965/73 Cheap Build Up
Hey Dennis, since I haven't been paying much attention, what was the surgery for?

Re: 1965/73 Cheap Build Up
they wanted to do that to me too , luckily it healed out of its own , basicly they open up the tube in youre wrist where the tendon runs through so the bump in the tendon causing the carpal tunnel doesnt get stuck anymore
they sumtimes call it triggerfinger too as it clicks when the lump is passing through the tube

Re: 1965/73 Cheap Build Up
I have trigger finger also but only on my left hand. I think that's caused by arthritis. I don't have any Carpal Tunnel symptoms in that hand since the surgery on my right hand. Go figure, the doctor can't explain it either.

Re: 1965/73 Cheap Build Up
it might be because you couldnt do a lot after the surgery and like on my hand the lump healed back to normal basicly carpal tunnel starts as an irritation of the tendon wish swells and gets stuck that causes it to irritate even more , giving it a rest makes it go away most of the time

Re: 1965/73 Cheap Build Up
It was immediately though. Next day no tingling, burning or numbness in both hands. I'm not complaining. Don't want to go through it again on my left, but if was still bothering me I would.

WOW, I can't believe I made the cover of 60-66 Chevy truck Calendar. http://www.lulu.com/content/legacy-l...rucks/12691160
I really don't deserve it, but I'll take it.

Re: 1965/73 Cheap Build Up
hey its a nice pic with good lighting a bit of a classic setup to the truck itself and all that , maibe next time get a pinup girl in a half opened greasy overals and a wrench looking interested in the engine :P .
most pics taken from unfinished projects are dark because there hidden deep inside the garage while there being worked on , and it just IS a good looking truck

Re: 1965/73 Cheap Build Up
Yeah, you know what they say about big fingers. No it's just the angle I took the picture. Kinda hard to hold the camera with your left hand.

Re: 1965/73 Cheap Build Up
I'm right handed, and the shutter button is on the right side. That's what makes it hard to use with your left hand.

Rearranged the shop. Now I can get at the truck and get more work done on it.

Re: 1965/73 Cheap Build Up
Was bored one Sunday a while back, and made these fan blades.
KEWL, huh? A little blurry. I was impatient to wait for them to stop.

Hey, the fans are cool and show imagination.
I really don't have any room to give you a hard time. I am dragging my feet big time on my 4 projects....... I just need to pull my head out, finish the shop at the house and get to work. Who knows, I just might steal that fan idea...

Easy to do. Just do the design in pencil first.

Re: 1965/73 Cheap Build Up
i think you could have these blades made in aluminium on a waterjet . that would take care of the balance , they look great they might just be a sell able item do a few of them like flames , hot rods , skulls , pinupgirls or the shops name who knows
