I wish these would have been available a week ago when I was there. I talked to a guy in that area about parts and he wanted over triple that for one door.

Let me guess...Dave? That guy has been running CL ads for over a decade with absurd prices. I don't think he ever actually sells anything

Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds

yep. I will have to say I would love to have the yellow K20 buried in the back of his lot. He said he was offered $10g but he thinks it's worth $20g. Then he tells us he only paid $500 for it. To bad it will probably rot away. Ran into another guy like him in Eads KS.

Not a Craigslist ad but an EBay ad. Worst ad ever? One picture and it's a pile of snow!

I drove all over Fraser looking for trucks a few days ago. I never thought to look under the snow.

That reminds me of my dad's 1969. He bought it used in 72 with 30k on it for his work truck. He was a logger and drove 40 to 100 miles each day to work. It was a K20 with only a 150 gallon diesel tank in the back and another tool box that took up 25% of the box by itself. That truck must of weighed 7000 pounds loaded. It had a 292 4 speed in it and he put a 130k miles on it, removed the boxes and traded it in for a year old Dodge that gave him lots of heartaches. He heard later that the rear end went out less than 200 miles after he traded it in.
