Snoopy, thats a sick truck. I might be a little slow, but do you only plan on driving it one way??? ahaha If thats ride height how the heck are you going to turn, wont it hit that fender severely?

that's exactly why im mounting the tank under the cab and hydraulic hose to the firewall where i'll have all my valves. i'll never have to go under my truck for anything! except to drain the tank of any water. the worst that can happen is a fill valve might stop working. if stuff is under the truck and you air out and your a fill valve doesnt work you are stranded...on a old truck i had 1 fill valve for both rear bags and it went out ......thats why im doing mine like i am...i'll have pics in my build next week. i have 5 nights i can work on it so im gonna get alot done.

if you air out and cant get a jack under it, here the solution for the back...have a hidden hitch behind your tag. slide an "extention step" (thing they sell for people to use as a step) in and it will give you a good place to jack onto. the front should be easy to jack onto the frame horns

Those pictures are just of the ride height mocked up. The control arms still have to get attached to the frame so the wheels might get sucked under a little more. The truck will have C6 Z06 suspension on all 4 corners with a quick change independent rear.

Re: How about some pics of bagged C-10's

I wouldn't put the valves on the fire wall because of the heat. I mounted mine in front of the core support, and the rear valves in the trunk, or on a truck under the bed where you can get at them and keep them clean.

J.Vale... Love this thing on the Astros with the thin whites!

I'd throw some Bellflower pipes on it if it was mine but that's just me!

Thanks, but its more of the previous owners taste. Lakewood-Bellflower pipes would look dope but im actually taking this one in another direction. I'll post pics when its complete but heres a preview.

I was thinking that i can reach my bags by simply reaching through my wheels, but then i saw that you had smoothies

seems like running each bag indepependantly is the way to cure this concern. the chances of losing operation of all 4 bags at once is slim to none. If your compressors die, it is a good idea to have an emergency shrader valve somewhere on your tank as a backup fill.

I actually have another project in the works. Its a 57 3100 with a tci mustang 2 and monoleafs in the rear. Im considering rebuilding the 292 straight six I pulled out but we will see. I will probably be using the Astros with some wide whites on this one, (tryin to keep it classy).

Maybe I should start a project build on it......

Stock, slammed or four byed, it dont matter, I enjoy these classic Chevy's. Still trying to convince my wife I need another one.

It says it on the plate in front of the chassis; Thorbecke Brothers.

Looks similar to the original Porterbuilt Dropmember.
