Eric, my heart feels what you're experiencing right now. With so many cancers, the treatment is ofter more harmful than what it is supposed to be treating. I remember when my mom finally said enough is enough three years ago and agreed to go on hospice.

And no one needs to be a bible thumper, all one needs to do is believe that God knows the greater plan that we are all merely a small part of and know that God loves us to where God doesn't arbitrarily take our loved ones just to hurt us.

Like Aggie91 said, May the Lord be with you in this time of need. For all of you!

And know that your forum family loves you and your mom! The project is just candy; meaning it will be here and then it will be gone.

Re: Tootsie build for my mother with cancer

Wow, page 79 already!

And you can put me down for 2 black and 2 orange, all in XL. Let me know how much and I'll get you a check in the mail, if that is OK. Or if you want to do PayPal or money order, just say so.

Keeping your mom in prayer.

Re: Tootsie build for my mother with cancer

Eric, I have been following your post and I want you to know our family has been praying, and will continue to pray, for your Mom's recovery. She must be proud of you to have reached these goals in your life and can support her in this way.
I would be proud to wear the shirts. Let me know how much I owe you for one large black and one large orange.
God Bless.

Re: Tootsie build for my mother with cancer

Eric, the truck is just mind-boggling.

I'm sorry to hear about your Mom, doesn't sound like she's doing too well. Just burried my Grandma last week, after doing a few of these there is one thing I'm convinced of, it's much harder on the living so hang on to the good memories and put the bad ones to rest as soon as you can. Tell your Mom you love her and when it gets to the very end...tell her it's ok to go home because it will give her the peace she needs. Just wanted you to know there's another prayer being said for you and yours.

Leevon

Eric it's 8:00 am in Phoenix, Az. and i have not kept up to date with your build nor your mothers condition. I had time this morning and I am sorry for your mother ( right now there is an endless amout of prays and tears flowing from myself) and the family. 4 yrs ago we lost our grandmother and i have to agree with LEEVON, it's going to hurt like hell but let her now that it's OK TO GO. May God bless your family today.

Re: Tootsie build for my mother with cancer

Thanks guys for all the prayers. She has turned the corner and is starting to get better. They are feeding her liquid now and if she keeps it down. They will pull the tube that is draining her stomach. This would be great because the tube is running down the inside of the nose and is making it difficult for her to talk. So we will have to wait and see were we go from here. Thanks
