I love the trim rings. I sure could use a set of 3 inch rings if you get tired of them. Truck looks really good bud.

Re: How about some pics of '73-'87 Short Beds

thanks guys, man, i tried putting my roll pan on at work just now, and it did not fit!! i have to cut it down on the sides about an 1/8'' and the liscense plate housing hits the bed. my brother primered it for me so i cant send it back. i should be able to fix it up though.

Re: How about some pics of '73-'87 Short Beds

from not oiling up the hinges, they rust up and when you go to close them they fold over like a newspaper

That and the way I understood is that pre-76's (I'm not 100% of the factory fix dates) don't have hood stiffeners @ the hinge mount. I was told they started putting a stiffening brace in from the factory after so many trucks were having the issue.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.
It's like a highly skilled Morrocan sword fighter with a Damascus Steel Scimitar.....

Re: How about some pics of '73-'87 Short Beds

Dig the truck ..... I just sold a '78 a few weeks ago & miss it already.

Not sure about the white wheels ..... It is a color contrast but not sure if I'd roll with it.

Based on the black paint I'd say, at least from the pic, that is is very straight.

Good luck with it. It's sharp.
