yes but this build thread will stop and i will make a new one for the new cab and i will continue the rest of this build on the new thread with the new cab...... i am taking suggestions for my new build thread name.....anybody have any?

bought a 1964 or 65 ( i believe its 64 since it says GM 4 on it) 327 intake, with oil fill tube and oil fill tube cap. so going to shove her in the solveant tank tommorrow and clean the cap, gonna install the cap on my truck, put the tube in a plastic baggy and keep it in my "extra" parts box, which has extra 67 dash knobs and other 67 year correct stuff. and then the intake will get cleaned painted and ready to sell.

also got the spot from john today THANKS BUDDY! and took the housings retaining rings and badges and figured out which of the 6 parts are best. got the best ones and reinstalled and it looks much much better!! now just some small dings to repair and rechrome then a brand new badge and we're good!

today i cleaned the intake in the solveant tank, and the oil cap. I CLR'd the oil cap and put black "oil"letters on it.

Next up for progress i got; charcoal canister (A/C), i got the 4 most needed A/C brackets, the water pump and crank pullies for A/C, 67 68 grille trim hoop aluminum chrome, 2 6.5 foot wood bed wood slats( so i can cut the ends off and make them into the 4 short ones), original red and green cigarette lighter and light wire(s), center A/C vent (nice shape for an original), cruise contol turn signal switch, and i think lol last but not least i got my 5 lug GM 71 stamped steele rims. which were nice painted black already! also the spare has a firestone tire from 1973! pics will come tommorow gonna talk to 1972hays tonight see if he cant send me some pics of the A/C brackets so i can show you guys a before and after on them.

i do say so myself, not bad indeed now who wants to help me take the pullies and stuff off and put it all, back to gether with the new pullies? lol
got a lot of stuff to do before friday night!!! starting tommorow.... who wants to send me some gas so i can start my truck this weekend for anyone at Renes c/10 club get together! lol

maybe u can advertise some of your stuff at the c-10 meet lol. man i would love it if some people from the meet wanted my stuff and asked me to take it there lol

mom isnt home today..... wednesday thursday or friday morning she should be here. yes found the phone somebody asked on the front end and just today they asked about the heads.... but not a reply yet from both

i had a kid come from madera to buy my go kart that i have priced super low!!
i told him u need to decide if u want it before the swap( it just passed) because i can definitely have it sold there. well he came super late and had my girl pissed at me because we went late to a bday party. he said i'll take it but he came in a car and said i'll come back tomorrow for it, left me half deposit. then after the swap he messages me nvm im going to go pick up my deposit and i was pissed. i shoulda said no refunds on deposits back when he made it =] woulda made up for the wasted time,girlie getten mad at me, and the potential swap sell.

welll the A/C brackets i do have are all sanded primered and painted semi gloss black. i got 2 brackets on the compressor tommorrow i will take shorud fan pullies belts of and put new puliies on also got the wood floor slats cut down to size for the four short ones in front and behind the wheel wells. so lets hope i can get alor more done tommorrow, also going to a local guy who has a red interior white exterior 67 and see if he wants to trade my black ash tray and nice painted red steering wheel for his original red with black wear marks steering wheel and ash tray.

todays progress: got my new A/C 4 groove pullie on the crank and all tightened up and all the fan and shroud then i got the new grille trim installed

haha well it was dark he said not tonight so, that didnt happen i need him to bring the acetylene torch and cut the bottom bolts off and then grind the top off.

ok (john your gonna hate this) i am going to make my truck all black and get the A/C brackets and compressor on the engine. so we will see, friday after school thenew bumpers go on and see the light of day after years and get a cleaning.
