Re: PO has me PO'd

Is it one of those bit holders, where the bit slides in, and the sleeve contacts what you are screwing into.

Thus disengaging the screw to prevent overdriving it? Like for drywall?

It holds the screw for you so you don't drop it?

Re: PO has me PO'd

Mine is a version of yours. Basically you can put one of your bits in there and I makes it magnetic. They are a bugger to get back out though. Kinda works like a socket locks onto a socket wrench. Here is a pic of mine with the diagram that is in the mini holder

Almost looks like yours has a screw stuck in it. Kinda hard to tell in the pic

Re: PO has me PO'd

OK CG, tried it and it works, just really snug, didn't want to break it.

So it looks like we have a winner

Re: PO has me PO'd

I have a few of those sets so it’s kinda like I cheated =)

I picked them up when I worked at Lowes, the people that worked in tools always let me know when something went on clearance.

How about a w/s knob, do you need it, I think it's a 67 or 68

I put the set screw in it to check thread size..............?..

Just wanted to make a fillet, for added strength and fill in my burn through

Need to practice welding, no burn through

Lead work sucked, dirty work area probably the cause

Need to move forward on this area, so this was the only solution so far

This stuff has been laying around for ever and still works

Thanks bud, I think you may be one of the few people who actually follow this stuff, but now I have to figure out what the piece looks like that bolts to the area I'm working on.

I suppose it mounts to the torsion box, may have to buy one.....

I’m sure there’s a bunch of us that have been following along. I don’t usually comment but I do check every time you post an update.

Don't use your veneers to scribe lines, call me weird, but I like the smell of Dycom

Had to hammer out the crease in the metal

Re: PO has me PO'd

Ive never owned a Blazer but I learn a lot from watching the Blazer builds. I don't comment much, but do go through the build section every day to make sure I don't miss something.

A little more fine tuning, and this piece should be ready for clecos, I may flange the top, where the magnet is

Guys thanks for posting up, gives more confidence to continue on
