Patina, shop logo'd, rusty trucks?

I guess that may be, but it still doesn't add up to me. My truck has patina pretty much everywhere. You've seen the pictures above. In person, it's even more prominent. Mine has that pink/salmon/rust colored primer on all the patina areas (hood, fenders, bed, doors), with the exception of one... The back of the tailgate. The tailgate so happens to not be original, and was repainted at one time. It's a 67/68 tailgate. You can see black patina under the blue.

Anyway, not trying to be argumentative here. Just trying to shed some light and figure it out

Look at the primer colors on Hazel. The factory did indeed use different colored primers.

drop a 350 on it and slam it. then clear over the patina. I love the way it looks now. Then maybe a set of wheels. its a sweet burb.

I've had my 68 for 7 or 8 years, it had patina when I got it, I put a logo on it from a buddy's shop in Alabama, then spray canned the rust one day. It didn't last long, all I did was sand it quick and spray, I parked it for a couple years now, the carb was leaking, now the rust has come back through, will have to get some recent pics.

Patina, logo, and rust? I haz dat. Original Ivory 67 c20 long stepper w/small rear window, painted red and used as a CocaCola vending machine delivery truck. Sat in a field for 30+ years. Rescued 2 weeks ago. Needs lots of love.

Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful!!! A very nice truck, a little lower in the front would really set it off, (if you don't mind me saying), either way it's so freakin kool!.
