Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Trucks
hotrod100, I'd change out that air filter. Those have been known to catch fire fairly easily. Good luck with the paint, and post up some pics when it's done.

Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Trucks
I know what you mean. This one already tried! I just need to go pick up a spacer so my K&N filter will clear the coil. Thanks!

Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Trucks
I think they are Grant Classics. So Grant makes them.
The worst part is getting the horn cover on them......

Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Trucks
Here are a few pictures of my 72 that I have owned for over twenty years and still have not finished it. I like riding it too much to take it apart.
Maybe one day I will get to it. Too many projects right now though! 69 nova, 72 stepside, 72 suburban and a 67 fleetside. |

Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Trucks
I usually don't like stepsides without exception but for some reason this one sticks out as cool to me. Hmmm, I guess you're not the only human that this truck has a spell on. I really can't put my finger on it. It has to be doing the right things right to stick around for over 20 years. Cool stuff.

Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Trucks
Thanks for the compliments. The ole girl has a 4" rear spring drop and removed one full ring on the front springs (remember that this was done years before drop spindles were popular). As for wheels and tires, 15x10 rally wheels with 255/70/15 tires on all corners. No rubbing at all. Added sway bars (front and rear) couple of years back and it handles incredible (to be a truck).

Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Trucks
I've got a 67 short box with SRW & will be up & running by the end of the month. Here is what it looked like when I brought it home.
